Storytime Registration
Children's Librarian, Tammi Eschmann, has set Jan. 30 at 9 a.m. as the time to register for Storytime. Parents are asked to fill out a registration slip that includes emergency contact information and food allergies.

Storytime will begin Feb. 13, with two separate sessions each Tuesday, ending on May 8. Session 1 will be for children 2-3 years of age and will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Session 2 will be for children 4-5 years of age and will be held from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

In both sessions, books, songs, finger plays and rhymes are used to help children build important pre-reading skills. Storytime promotes listening skills, builds literacy and encourages children to develop a love of reading in preparation for school success.

Other programs for children that are offered on a monthly basis are: Bedtime Stories on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m.; Lego Club on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bedtime Stories is a program for children of all ages. Join Ms Tammi for an evening of books, crafts and a snack all in your pajamas. What a nice way to get ready for bed; don those pjs, listen to a story, share a snack and get tucked in your bed when you get home.

Lego Club is open to children of all ages. You may come anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and use the library's Legos to build a masterpiece. A shelf in the children's area of the library is reserved for the works of art to be on view to the public until the next month's Lego Club. There are a variety of sizes of Legos provided to go with the age of the child. Be creative and share your creation.
