Archives and Rare Book Room
ORIGINAL COPIES

Original copies of typescripts, legal documents, reports, family histories, newspaper and magazine articles, etc. that are of importance to local genealogy and/or history are kept in the Morrison-Talbott Library Archives and Rare Book Room. Photocopies of these items are generally accessible by the public in the file cabinets.

MARY TALBOTT ARTWORK

Morrison-Talbott Library houses many original paintings done by Mary Talbott. Several of the paintings are on display in the library. All others are kept in storage in the Archives and Rare Book Room.

ARTIFACTS

Several artifacts originally owned by Col. Morrison and Mary Talbott, the namesakes of Morrison-Talbott Library, are housed in the Archives and Rare Book Room when not on display.

RARE BOOKS

Dozens of old and in some cases rare books are housed in the Archives and Rare Book Room. These books are presently used only for occasional display. Once these books have had the necessary conservation work done, they may be made accessible by the public within Morrison-Talbott Library.
