The CD collection includes local / regional cemetery and church records, plat maps, funeral cards, and county and city directories. This information is also in the process of being added to the Genealogy Computer located in the Genealogy Department and is available for patron research.
The file cabinets contain printed material on various Monroe County families. This material includes family histories, hand written notes, newspaper articles, etc. There are also files containing information about historical events and historical sites in the area. This information is available for research purposes and we welcome any additional information patrons may want to donate to our files.
