The MakerSpace at MTL. Where ideas take shape.

Launched in 2022, this evolving creative lab was designed to give our community space to explore, experiment, and build new skills together. It’s a place where creativity is encouraged, collaboration happens naturally, and hands-on learning is part of the experience.

Currently located in our lower level, The MakerSpace at MTL is a flexible, high-energy environment equipped with ample workspace and the tools needed to bring projects to life. It serves as the home for craft classes, art workshops, STEAM programming, and creative collaboration. When not in use for scheduled programs, the space is available for study groups and community meetings.

Makers of all ages have access to a growing collection of equipment, including:

  • 3D printing
  • Cricut cutting machine
  • AccuCut die-cut system with 300+ dies
  • Button maker
  • Overhead projectors
  • And more coming soon

As interest continues to grow, so will The MakerSpace at MTL, expanding opportunities for innovation, skill-building, and hands-on learning.
