The Morrison-Talbott Library is always looking for teens and adult interested in helping out at the library.

VOLUNTEER

We appreciate your interest in volunteering at the library!  Opportunities to volunteer at the library include program preparation, helping at events, cleaning, reading shelves, lawn work, preparing for and working book sales and more.  We always accept volunteer applications.*  Simply fill out the form below, or pick up a paper application at the circulation desk.  All adult volunteers must successfully complete a criminal background check. Volunteers will be contacted as opportunities become available and scheduled as needed.

Teen volunteers

Are you interested in giving back to your community?  Do you need to earn hours to satisfy community service requirements for school, church or honor societies?  Would you like to learn about careers in library science or public administration?  Submit an application and reach out to our Youth Services Coordinator at stephaniet@waterloolibrary.org with questions.

Please note that all adult and teen volunteer hours must be scheduled in advance.  Walk-in volunteers not accepted.

*At this time, the library does not offer volunteer opportunities due to mandatory court sentencing.

If you are interested in helping keep the library clean or are interested in helping out with an upcoming program, please fill out the online form below, or contact the library at mtl@waterloolibrary.org.
